LSS at Formnext 2018

The Formnext is the leading trade fair for the 3D printing industry. Every year in November, the biggest innovations and trends are presented in Frankfurt. We proudly presented our new portfolio consisting of the RAPTOR 3D printer series, the MMPS powder management system and our XLMS services.

“This week is one of the most important ones for us”, Klaus Laubinger, Sales Director LSS, points out. “We meet potential new clients but we also network and connect with other companies in the industry. Formnext always shows the trends and innovations in Additive Manufacturing.”

2018 has been an exceptionally interesting year for us. For the first time, we presented machines that are completely “made by LSS”. We have been talking about our MMPS system for the past couple of months. At Formnext, visitors had the chance to have a look into the system and find out more details about the functions.

We also took this opportunity to present our all-new RAPTOR 3D printer series for the very first time. The RAPTOR 84X-Q is the first PLS machine with a quad laser/scanner technology – allowing for the integration of laser sintering into industrial production. You can read the press release here and find out more about the RAPTOR series here.

The third big topic for us at this fair was our “Complete revamping solution”. Under the name XLMS we combined our expertise as a solution provider and material seller as well as our productivity-boosting upgrades.

“Considering the impressive growth of visitors, we can clearly see how the market expectation is high and how regulations are becoming more restrictive. Established now as a 3DP machine designer and producer, our responsibility is to bring differentiating solutions to the market. LSS GmbH pushes its innovation not just through a unique machine but also through a technology like ThermoMeltTM bridging our 3DP expertise with conventional materials used in industrial market. ThermoMeltTM is a solution answering to numerous challenges in electronic, oil and gas and automotive”, says Ralph Rissé, Marketing & Business Development Director LSS.

This year, more than 630 exhibitors presented their products to almost 27.000 visitors from all over the world. Formnext offers a wide variety of topics from research and development to solutions for additive manufacturing and digitalization.
